Get Realistic, Reliable Restorations Here

If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, or have no healthy teeth remaining, you want restorations that will give you everything you once had: A full, strong, and confident smile that never lets you down. You want to be able to eat all your favorite foods and know that your new restorations are up to the job. These are the reasons the team here at Advanced Dentistry Ameredes & Associates chooses zirconia for restorations. Made from zirconium, zirconia is a ceramic that mirrors the qualities of titanium in many ways, including its strength. For a smile that will truly last, you can’t do better than a zirconia fixed bridge in Oakdale, PA.

As part of a full mouth dental implant solution, a zirconia fixed bridge is the most preferred overall option to regain your dental function and aesthetics when pervasive tooth loss has occurred. Our own Dr. TJ Ameredes is a board-certified implantologist and together with his associate, Dr. David Mascio, the dentists have placed and restored thousands of dental implants over the course of more than 38 combined years in practice. Put your smile in their capable hands and you’ll be more than happy with the results!

Why Use Zirconia?

Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns are widely used in dentistry today. However, they have some drawbacks. The metal is often visible as a gray or silver ring at the bottom of the crown, which makes it obvious the crown is not real. Further, porcelain can wear down over time, leaving previously shiny crowns a dull color that stands out from the other teeth for the wrong reasons. Porcelain has also been known to separate from the metal underneath, making replacement of the restoration necessary.

Zirconia, on the other hand, does not present these issues. Instead, it appears more lifelike than other materials and keeps that appearance for many years. Few alternatives are as durable or long-lasting as zirconia when it comes to restorations. They’re the closest option to natural teeth that you’ll find.

Fixed for Unmatched Stability

A bridge is a row of three or more crowns that are connected together and is used to replace the form and function of missing teeth. Unlike dentures, which are held in place by suction or adhesives but can come loose during conversations or meals, zirconia fixed bridges are designed to be permanently anchored in your mouth. You won’t have to worry about them slipping out of place and embarrassing you when your bridges are attached to dental implants, the one tooth replacement option that offers you true peace of mind. Isn’t that what you’re looking for?
